JohnHerrell.com consists of my own personal portfolio and a digital canvas, where I can share with the world some of the exciting things I create.

With that said, this site will continue to grow as I add new content. The next set of enhancements include adding a section for my professional resume and portfolio. I will also add more information on metal work, including tips, tools & techniques.

About John

I am a Sr. Software Engineer with 15 years of experience. My experience goes well beyond just code, as I have participated in every aspect of software development. Over the years I have delivered multiple client-server, desktop, and web applications for small and large organizations, including government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. In addition, I have proven my proficiency in performing Application Architecture, Data Architect, and Business Analyst duties.

On the other side of the fence, I am still heavily involved in custom cars, trucks, and bikes. Building them and driving them are a passion, a way of life. My latest project is a 1946 Chevy truck which I plan on driving in the summer of 2011.
